No news is no news.

Hi everyone! There isn't any news to report. We're waiting for our court documents to arrive via email through the agency. Those documents are the ones where we put down their new middle names and submit them to the court, at which point we wait for a court date to be assigned. We will hear about court date 2-4 weeks before it occurs. We keep hearing that it's "possible" to get a court date over the summer, even though they are "closed". So we keep hoping and praying that we will get the soonest possible court date. We are so anxious to get them home. It's just terrible!!!
No more new contact from the kids. We hope we'll get a letter from them soon. We sent a letter to a family in Texas that is adopting their friends from the same group at the end of the month. They will carry the letters over to the kids for us.
That's all for now. Everyone keep hoping on our behalf that things will go fast! I will report any news as we receive it.
Love,
Molly

you know how you get that funny feeling that there might just be a post today... and then there is! It's so cool when I'm right (although don't ask me about my accuracy rating...)

Can you send mail direct to them, or do you have to send it with someone who's going?

We can send mail directly to them to the orphanage, but it's expensive. So that was a quicker and cheaper way for this particular letter. We're sending them stuff directly soon too. A letter costs about $16. A package costs about $40-50.

Might want to check on the cost of UPS or Fedex.

I checked online for UPS and FedEx and they were both a lot more. But maybe their online thing is misleading - I might try taking it to the store/kiosk things and finding out. But only if I'm going to be in Allentown - which is where the centers are. At least we have a post office nearby! LOL

because the Post office is US government run, there is a law that states that anyone in direct competition with the USPS must be more expensive so as not to compete with the actual government so that is why FedEx and DHL and UPS are more expensive although maybe more reliable.
