Hey! We're home safe. Kathy is here with us this morning since we have no car. She brought us home last night. We have to go car shopping tonight or over the weekend (our car was totaled right before we left, for those of you who don't know!). So Kathy is the subject of constant UNO playing card requests and a silly Russian card game that makes no sense!
We're so glad to be home. Water that tastes like NOTHING (instead of chalk), food that we recognize and doesn't cost 3 times the amount it should, and our own bed!
All for now, just wanted to let you all know we made it. :)

My experiences with Nastja so you all know what you could be in for: UNO marathon: Nastya 6 -Kathy 2. She's brutal and she tries to cheat! I couldn't fathom the Russian card game which makes perfect sense since how can you expect Russians to know how to play cards WHEN THEY CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SIGN A STUPID PIECE OF PAPER! Natja is good at math although like most Europeans writes a 1 like a 7. So since I thought her 1 was a 7 she now thinks not only can't I play cards but I can't ADD! She is quite formidable so a little friendly warning - FAMILY BEWARE!
Oh, but she is BEAUTIFUL, ADORABLE, FEISTY, SPUNKY, AFFECTIONATE - so we can forget all about the card cheating and the math tricks!!!
