Hey guys! Not much new to report really. Still getting short sweet emails from the kids occasionally. We were getting short ones every day for about 4 days in a row last week. But we haven't gotten another one since Friday I think, so maybe they're at camp again or just not getting access to a computer. I'm still particularly grateful that we hear from them. I know a lot of families don't get to hear from their kids at all during this wait. Mostly because most of the kids are younger, so they don't do email and stuff yet.
I got the new site up for the agency. I'm still writing some of the pages and getting info from some of the other families, but the waiting children is the most important part and that is up to date. The website, if any of you want to see it, is www.adoptconnection.com. I submitted it to search engines already, too. So I hope to see some of the other kids getting adopted.
The agency may be coming out with a new program soon, too. Diana (owner of the agency) went to Nicaragua last week to work out a international adoption program with them. I haven't heard the final report, yet, but if they end up allowing pictures the way Estonia does, they will be on the new site, too. I won't hold my breath... photo listings like Estonia's are extremely rare. Most countries don't allow public pictures at all.
That's all that's going on right now. Still no court document or court date. A lady named Viola, and her husband, went to preview a little boy last week and they were told to expect a late Sept. court date, so we hope that means we still have reason to expect Sept. also. Their boy is in Tallinn as well. We really hope we'll all be there at the same time. That would be fun for us all to be there for court together. More people who speak English! And we'll get to meet all their kids. There are 3 other families we have personally talked to who are hoping for September, including Viola.

So did these couples actually get their court date yet or is that an estimate that they should expect something in late September? You and Jay were there in May, which is obviously before these folks.

It was just a guess on their part. No one knows when their court date will be for sure. We were there in May, but the thing is when the paperwork was submitted. Ours was submitted in mid-May... These people might have submitted their paperwork back in May as well. Which means they would be at the same time line as us, not behind us (even though they just went for the preview).
